REGIONAL INTEGRATION (IR)

Regional integration (RI) is defined as a grouping of member states that come together on the basis of agreed policies, legal and/or regulatory frameworks and institutional arrangements to develop and implement common, joint, coordinated or harmonized policies, projects, policies and programs within a given territory or territories, either simultaneously, sequentially or in successive phases.
