UNITED NATIONS FRAMEWORK CONVENTION ON CLIMATE CHANGE (UNFCCC)

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) was created in 1992 at the Rio Summit. It was the first attempt, within the framework of the UN, to better understand climate change and propose solutions to limit it. It meets annually at world conferences to take stock of progress in the fight against climate upheaval.
