The West African Development Bank (BOAD) is a regional financial institution dedicated to promoting and financing sustainable development in West Africa. Since its creation in 1973, the WADB has established itself as a key player in the West African economic landscape.

Our fundamental mission is to support projects and initiatives that contribute to economic growth, poverty reduction and the improvement of living conditions in the member states of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA). Firmly rooted in the region in which we operate, we finance a wide range of projects in key sectors such as infrastructure, energy, agriculture, transport and much more.
