Second phase of the Agri-Food Processing Project in the Republic of Togo

Objectives

  • The project aims to promote inclusive agricultural growth that creates jobs, reduces food imports into the region and encourages private investment in the targeted sectors (rice, maize, soya, sesame, broiler chicken and cashew nuts). It will also help build the capacity of actors in the priority agro-industrial sectors.

Expected impact: 800,000 beneficiaries, 50% of whom will be women, 10,000 people will have access to a water source and another 10,000 will have access to electricity.
